Hosted by pop artist Fahamu Pecou, expect new conversations, exposure opportunities and awareness for rising pop-culturists as well the establishment of a better understanding and awareness for legendary veterans. Dick Gregory is an activist, philosopher, anti-drug crusader, comedian, author, actor, recording artist,... and nutritionist, and was on the frontline in the '60s during the Civil Rights era. From his Presidential Campaign in 1968 to his Campaign for Human Dignity to fight crime in St. Louis neighborhoods, he continues to be a "drum major for justice and equality." In 1996, he took the stage with his critically acclaimed one-man show, Dick Gregory Live! and was once declared as “one of the funniest people on the planet" by President Bill Clinton.Killer Mike is a southern rapper Known for his delivery of passion and fury, Killa Mike delivers lyrics that ‘slap you in the face." For over a decade, he has given audiences a take-no-prisoner approach to hip-hop. His latest project, R.A.P. Music, continues to blend a booming delivery, social consciousness, and Southern sensibility.
